Child & Adolescent Therapy

At The Shoreline Therapy Center, our child and adolescent therapy always begins with the family. We typically start with an initial session with the parents, followed by three to four sessions with the child or young adult. After this stage, the clinician completes a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, which is reviewed and discussed with the parents to collaboratively design an individualized treatment plan.

We believe that meaningful progress comes from a strong partnership between the therapist and the family. Throughout the process, we consult with our broader clinical team to gain diverse perspectives and ensure the most effective approach. Our program serves individuals ages 4 to 21 and is available via telehealth, in person, or a combination of both.

For clients who require a more intensive level of care, we offer our CONNECTIONS program—an enhanced model that includes ongoing coaching and therapy throughout the week. This program allows children and adolescents to remain in their home and community environment while receiving structured, comprehensive support, avoiding the need for residential placement.

Child and adolescent therapy is a cornerstone of our practice at Shoreline Therapy Center.
