Phil Fulcher
Connections Coaching
Like many at Shoreline Therapy Center, Phil has a background in non-profits serving youth with serious illnesses. Originally from the UK, he has volunteered with youths affected by serious illness since 2013, inspired by a close family member who lives with Dandy Walker syndrome.
Phil holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering and brings a multidisciplinary approach to his work. In addition to his role at Shoreline, he’s involved in work with design consulting, real estate, and food ventures. He’s passionate about the transformative power of therapeutic recreation, believing it plays a vital role not only in mental health but in physical well-being as well—often in ways that are overlooked.
With a strong technical foundation, Phil enjoys incorporating hands-on skills and outdoor activities into his work with clients. He draws on a wide range of interests, including road and mountain biking, hiking, tennis, squash, pickleball, weightlifting, disc golf, golf, and skiing. He also engages in 3D printing, CAD design, woodworking, vehicle maintenance, drone flying, aerial photography, general photography, programming, sales, cooking, and ongoing professional development.
Phil prides himself on his ability to meet clients’ needs through unique programming and rapport building and is eager to continue to do this work in the Farmington Valley.
